TODAY IS THE AUSPICIOUS DAY

Look!

The darkness is gone,
Another day has dawned.
Filling our heart with hope.

Rise up, and do not delay;
Soon to-day will be born.
You would be left all alone
if you further delay.

Do not leave undone
Anything that should be done
This moment, here and now.
Yesterday is dead and o gone,
And tomorrow is unborn and unknown.

You are left only with to-day.
And to-day is the day, the most auspicious day.

" Now it's too warm
Now it's to cold,
Why worry ? Why hurry?
Better time are bound to come."

This is what the lazy fools always say,
Not knowing the world's true way.

This life of ours is precious indeed.
Limited is time for all our deeds.
So neither delay nor postpone,
Advice of the wise always do heed.

Heed-fulness leads to immortality,
And heedlessness direct to mortality.
