“Vesak” is the holiest celebration of the Buddhists around the globe which falls on the full moon day of May every year. It is a celebration of three remarkable events of the Buddha’s birth, enlightenment and passing away (Parinibbana/Parinirvana).

This year ...
      Burmese Buddhist Society, BC will celebrate largest Buddha Day celebration on May 11, 2014. On this event,  We’ll paying respect    together 10, 00 Buddha’s images and Pagodas in worldwide.

In Remembrance of 80 year of live Buddha, We invite 80 special guests and chant nine attributes of Buddha in pali as well as in  Burmese.
And also 
we’ll offer together to the Buddha

1) 10, 00 flowers
2) 10, 00 candle lights
3) 10, 00 Fragrance
4) 10, 00 Water
5) 10, 00 fruits
6) 10, 00 dollars and
7) Alms-food

Join worldwide movement by celebrating Buddha's day at Buddharamsi Temple in Richmond. Attend a special Buddha's birthday event or spend the day visiting to Buddharamsi Temple.

Note: To  convenience  for Donors : BBS, BC  will arrange   bottle of water, flower and candle. ..with $  10 dollars donations.
